Major Duties

Classification: Exempt / Non-Bargaining

Acts as a liaison between business departments and Salesforce.com system stakeholders. Primary activities include the administration and maintenance of Salesforce.com and CPQ platform. Provides day-to-day support and analysis and support for a wide variety of present and potential business initiatives. Assists with the development and testing of new system functionality. Provides support of the on-going development and improvement of the platform. Works closely with functional leaders, organization units, and subject matter experts to develop and deploy new business processes and system enhancements. High level of interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required in order to establish and maintain positive working relationships with numerous internal parties.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with team members across the organization to identify technical business solution opportunities. Facilitates business discussion to analyze and identify business need.
  • Provides day-to-day system maintenance of Salesforce.com systems. Activities include maintaining the user base, assisting with case resolution, and creating reports and dashboards. Works closely with system stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assists with the preparation and planning of system upgrades and assess impacts to the different system environments. Defines and documents user requirements.
  • Facilitates meetings, assists with outlining project deliverables, and identifies the benefit to the business. Measures overall project performance.
  • Creates and executes test plans and test cases.
  • Maintains knowledge of the Salesforce.com system enhancements and provides organizational assessment of the potential impacts.
  • Develops and tracks performance metrics. Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports.
  • Uses Business Analytics to optimize operational performance.
  • Works with internal teams to define and establish best practices.
  • Participates in sales processes and functions may include trade shows, industry events, presentations, meetings, etc.
  • Assists with the creation Sales training tools.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of software system administration.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or related field, or 3 years' experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize requests.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com platform and current certification or the ability to be certified.
  • Configure Price Quote (CPQ) knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts.
  • Proven ability to create strong relationships across the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $62,000 - $72,000
