JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Neurology Nurse in this progressive care unit, you'll care for a diverse patient population with a range of needs to build or enhance your nursing practice. Our patient population consists of neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT, and other medical patients. Our 3-bed neuro step-down unit offers a unique opportunity to care for our more complex patients.

EDUCATION:

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required. The University of Vermont Medical Center is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or current employees promoted to, a RN position will be required to obtain their BSN as outlined in the terms of their offer letter.

EXPERIENCE:

Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.

Greater than one year of experience.
